sometimes when i am sitting there thinking about what it must be like for other people when they make commentary on your photographs. “0h my g@awshhh!!11 y@ll @r3 s00000 cut33~!!11” when i am staring at this, scrolling through the comments and resisting the urge to throw my laptop across the room i hear a song come along from my pandora. its called “more like her” by miranda lambert. as i was listening to it i felt a tear slide down my cheek, it explained just how i felt. remember when people used to say we would be cute together. the likes were on our facebook photos, people would bring up your name in almost every conversation. you consumed my thoughts. now the only place i see you is my dreams.

you made it hard on me when we fought, you make it hard on me to find someone else when my school work is to the max and when all of the songs are about love and all of the chick flicks like the vow make me burst into tears. why can’t i have someone who would fight for me like they want to fight for her. maybe it only happens in the movies, but i damn right know that i deserve someone who loved me. so i am going to tell you right here, right now. even though you will never read this. i am O V E R you. 

all i have to do is tell my heart that. and guess what? every minute without you is going to be a great new memory. shopping with friends, concerts, listening to my ipod filled with shit from all different genres of music that you always made fun of me for. guess what? 

im responding to those other texts now. the ones i forgot i was ignoring. the ones from guy friends that i pushed away because of you. i like my life better now. i really do.
